Issue while configuring sharepoint 2007 with ADFS 2.0
Hi, I am currently working on ADFS federation and my lab details are below DomainA is set up using Winodows 2008 R2 (64 bit) and an ADFS server with Windows 2008 R2 (64 bit). I have MOSS with SP2 installed on the same domain and has one App server and one front end server both with Windows 2003 (64 bit). The ADFS 2.0 server has a header adfs.domainA.com and the certificate is issued by the windows 2008 R2 server. The MOSS has a site adfsdoc.domainA.com and the certificate is again issued by Windows 2008 R2 CA server. I am running the federation utility for Sharepoint 3.0 from the front end server and giving the Administrator config file and the application config file as the same config file of adfsdoc.domainA.com since the central admin is not configured on front end server. While configuring the federation utility for Sharepoint 3.0 in the last screen am getting an error as below. stsadm: The given key was not present in the dictionary. Callstack: at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowKeyNotFoundException() at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPWebApplication.UpdateAuthenticationSettings(SPUrlZone zone, SPIisSettings newSettings, Boolean createJob) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPWebApplication.UpdateAuthenticationSettings(SPUrlZone zone, SPIisSettings newSettings) at Microsoft.SharePoint.StsAdmin.SPAuthentication.Run(StringDictionary keyValues) at Microsoft.SharePoint.StsAdmin.SPStsAdmin.RunOperation(SPGlobalAdmin globalAdmin, String strOperation, StringDictionary keyValues, SPParamCollection pars) I have been breaking my head on this and not been able to find a solution. Any idea, work around solution is appreciated. Finally should i be using the app server to configure this? Regards, Sudhish
