Issue FIM Installation with Sharepoint 2010
I have a server with windows server 2008 and Sharepoint 2010 Stand alone, when I try to install Forefront Identity Manager 2010 I got the message "The feature you have selected have the following prerrequisites. Please update your machine and retry the installation: Sharepoint" Why FIM installion does not recognize Sharepoint 2010? I had followed FIM documentation (reference http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff512686(WS.10).aspx) Can you help me about it or any suggestion? Thanks a lot Regards Edgar

SharePoint 2010 is not supported to host the portal FIM 2010 -- and it won't work. Please use WSS 3.0 SP2. David Lundell www.ilmBestPractices.com

I don't get it. There is a new Product FIM 2010, that is based on an old product MOSS even thugh it is released later than the new product sharepoint 2010...
