Is there a way to stop SUP client install once it has been started?
Not sure where the task is created or how to kill it. I tried to remove ccmsetup.exe from the WSUS server. Trying to prevent anymore computers from installing the cleint. I have taken SCCM server offline, can find any where in the WSUS console that even shows that the update is being pushed down? Alex

You can remove it from the ConfigMGR console under site settings and client installation method. It won't go away just because you shut down your SCCM servers.MCITP Server Administrator Blog: http://www.nixadmins.net

Thanks for the reply, I removed it under the sight settings and client install method. Clients are still getting the ccmsetup.exe pushed through the wsus automatic updates service it seems to bypass the normal approval process in wsus.

Search for the ConfigMgr client in the table tbUpdate (SUSDB). Set IsLocallyPublished to False and the update should show up in the WSUS console. Might be an unsupported solution though.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
