Is there a way to specify attribute type in a DSML import file template
I found this excellent blog post on the subject of file based management agents supported in FIM (largely unchanged since MIIS days!) when looking for more info on working with the DSML import file format. However it seems the example DSML file supplied is about as much information as there is in terms of a DTD or XSD (document type definition) for this very specific flavour of DSML file that FIM is parsing when you specify the template for your DSML text file MA ... In the absence of this info, has anyone got anything further in terms of what FIM is actually looking for in this file? Specifically I am looking to be able to default as many of the settings that otherwise have to be manually set in the Create Management Agent wizard, such as the following: attribute type anchor (including option to use the dn as the anchor) attribute is mandatory or optional for a given class (must have vs. may have attributes) Thanks in advance ... I have a feeling that the answer is that you simply can't do the above purely by marking it up somehow in the DSML file.Bob Bradley (FIMBob @ http://thefimteam.com/) ... now using Event Broker 3.0 @ http://www.fimeventbroker.com/ for just-in-time delivery of FIM 2010 policy via the sync engine
