Is there a way that the text qualifier does not get alterd when deployed (_x003C_none_x003E_ )
We develop SSIS packages on a 32 bit machine. These packages are deployed on a 64 bits system running SQL2008 R2. When we deploy a package and the package contains a flatfile, it adds a weird text qualifier: _x003C_none_x003E_ I found out that a possible cause is the difference between the 32 bits and 64 bits environment. We now fix the packages by opening them on the 64 bits environment and remove the text qualifier (_x003C_none_x003E_) save the package and then add it to SQL2008 R2 IS. But is there a way that the text qualifier does nog get alterd when deployed? We don’t really want to edit the packages again on the 64 bits machine. Thanks for the replies!
