Is the SharePoint 2010 Management Pack Working With Ops Manager 2012 Beta?
Hello, When trying to Configure the SharePoint 2010 Management Pack for Ops Mgr 2012 Beta (after installing the SharePoint 2010 Management Pack, and configuring the .config file, and changing the directory to point to Program Files (x86) as the configuration is running on a 64-bit server) I get the following error: "The Event Policy for the process started at 9:13:23 AM has detected errors in the output. The 'StdErr' policy expression: .+ matched the following output: Exception calling "ImportManagementPack" with "1" argument(s): "This method from the System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 SDK is not supported to work with System Center Operations Manager 2012. Please migrate to the System Center Operations Manager 2012 SDK." " Has anyone gotten this Management Pack working with the Ops Manager 2012 Beta?

Look in the release notes. The configuration tool needs to be changed for this MP - so there is a fix for beta described in the release notes. This should be corrected by RTM.Microsoft Corporation

Hi There is a SCOM 2012beta specific Management Pack for SharePoint 2010 - is it this one that is causing problems or are you trying to use the SCOM 2007 R2 Management Pack for SharePoint 2010? You should be able to download the SCOM2012beta MP from http://connect.microsoft.com Cheers Graham New SCOM 2012 Blog! - http://www.systemcentersolutions.com/blog/ View OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

How long is this going to go on, people not being able to find a package that the instructions point you to. And anyone typing "go to the Connect site" should have their hands slapped. If you do not have a direct link, that input is useless to someone who cannot find the package as advertised. I'm assuming there is still nothing?.....

Same problem here. Surprised there is no fix released yet. Paid support appears to be my only option to get this updated MP. Do I really need to pay for a support case to get this fixed? D. McDowell

Giving a link that has a resolution of: "Call Microsoft Support to provide an updated version of the management pack compatible with the System Center Operations Manager 2012 SDK" is NOT an answer to the question of why no one can find a link online to download the management pack. If Microsoft is TRYING to make it hard to get this management pack, they should say so and explain why instead of frustrating so many people.
