Is it true that Tasks created in SP Designer expire after 60 days?

I am doing some reading online about using SP designer and read somewhere that the tasks created by SP Designer expire after 60 days? Is this true and is there a workaround this?

Thanks

Don't think it expires until you set expiry.Even If that is the case, you can keep a workflow to remind you just before 7 days or so. by that time keep workflow in pause state.
