Is it possible to study all the System Center family components?

Hi,

Hopefully, i am writing in the right thread. If not so, please suggest or move this post to another appropriate thread.

I am asking if it is possible to absorb all the SC 2012 components. I find it very difficult as the information size is massive. ConfigMgr alone took me 3 months to get finished. After that, my brain shut down and couldn't proceed with any other member of the SC family. My manager gave me 5 months to finish studying the entire SC suite. Is that possible?

Appreciate your fast response.

Thx

First,

it is impossible to learn everything there is to know about System Center in 5 months.  It is way too complicated.  You need a focus point.  You need to get from your manager what the requirements are.  You need a focus. for example,  maybe  you only need SCCM to distribute software and not deploy updates.  If you have an understanding of what your business requirements are then it will allow you focus on what the business needs instead of trying to cover everything all at once.  Is your organization looking at implementing a private cloud ?  What are the objectives that they are aiming to achieve ?

Why did your manager ask you to look at the whole SC suite in the first place ?
