Is it possible to populate a SharePoint form via email or script?
My company uses a SharePoint form to create and track tickets. As part of an automation initiative, I'm trying to find a way to script the creation of one of these tickets. I'm thinking if a ticket can be automatically created via a properly formatted
email that would be ideal. Is it possible to create/populate a SharePoint form via an email gateway?
The other thing I'm considering is kicking off a script to directly populate the form. I'm not really familiar with SharePoint, so at this point I'm just trying to find out if whether either of these scenarios is possible and maybe get
some suggestions.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
