Is it possible to expand a Document Set in Content and Structure?

I have a subsite with document libraries where Document Sets are used. There are occasions where content has to be moved between document sets.

This may be by design but I'm wondering if its possible to expand Document Sets in the tree on the left to enable the window on the right to show the documents inside the Set.  If you see below, there is no option to expand the "Test Doc Set" under My Library.  There is a document inside the "Test Doc Set"

Something need to be enabled I hope?

In the browser list view, you can see the documents if you make the view "Show all items without folders".  But, unfortunately, even with this view, you cannot see the documents in "Content and Structure".

Hi kelsnz,

I have a test based on your description :On the Site content and structure page ,document sets will appear just like other documents .Folder is special ,when clicking on a folder ,  items in the folder will show up .But when clicking on a document set or a document ,they will open in a new window instead .It is by design .You can also copy ,move ,view properties of the document set by click on the drop down list when hover over the document set .It is the same as the folder .

As you want to move contents between document sets, I suggest you open the destination document set, and copy the URL of the document set, then go to the original document set, select the document that you want to copy, and click Send To->other location, in the Destination, paste the  URL of the destination document set click OK. After that, the document will be copied in the destination document set.

Thanks,

Wendy

Hi Wendy,

I'm guessing when you say "Send To> Other Location" you mean by opening the document using "Open with Explorer"?  As long as the metadata is copied too then would work for me.

Apologies Wendy, I just noticed that I have posted this is in the 2010 forum - should be in 2013.

I get the below when I click on the dots - no option for Send To>
