Is it possible to copy a package?

Hello,

I have Sccm 2012 and I'm looking a way to copy a package (with deploy configuration, scripts, etc) from one collection to other collection because I want to avoid create the same package for 12 collections but I'm not be able to find a way to do it.

Thnak you in advance for the Help.

You don't do it this way. You create one package and deploy it to multiple collections

Thank you for the answer,

I thought that option, but I want that the pakage is in the different distributions points, I don't want to have problems with the line because there are a lot of collections with a lot of computers in different contries. I need to have the package in each distribution points.

Therefore create Distribution groups based on your boundaries for content location awareness.

Hello,

I'm not sure what do you want to say, can you explain it better. Currently I have a collection for each office and each country, also I have a distribution point and boundary for each collection.

Thank you.

You can organise your DP's into groups and apply them to particular boundaries but it sounds like you are already doing this with your DP's (they don't have to be in groups).

When you create a package you distribute it to the DP's and this where the package is copied to, not the collections. You then deploy the package to the collection and this targets that package at any of the clients in the collection. They then download the package from the DP's when they pick up that deployment from policy.
