Is anyone here running deep freeze as part of your OSD task sequence?
If so how are you deploying it, I have noticed that if you "freeze" a machine as the last step of your TS, the computer shows up in Configmgr as client=no even when there is a client installed. If you are deploying deep freeze as part of your OSD task sequence let me know how you are doing it, in what order, etc?

On an old project (university within Canada) we were using Deepfreeze. What we did was add DeepFreeze into the Run once Reg keys. But we had to wrap it with a count down, so that it would only Freeze the system after x reboots and delayed the Freezing by ~10 minutes once the counter got to 0. However they still had issues. The last I heard was they remove this work around and manually freeze the PCs.http://www.enhansoft.com/

Thank you Garth, Yes I have come to realize that Deep Freeze used in-conjunction with SCCM is quite the pain, I was hoping to hear from someone that is currently using deep freeze successfully, so I could pick apart their TS, and workflow.

If you get stuck, let me know, my main contact has move on but I still have a few ties over there, I can email the SCCM team and see what they are doing these days. But I believe that they are manually triggering the install of Deepfreeze. I did recommend that they contact Deepfreeze to see what they recommend for deploying it with SCCM. I never heard what the answer was from them. http://www.enhansoft.com/
