Is SSRS 2008 supports exporting to .xlsx format instead of .xls
I have MS Office 2007 installed in my machine. when i export SSRS 2008 report to Excel, i need to save in .xlsx format rather than .xls format. what settings we need to do.
pls give me the solution for this.

Not natively; you need something like Aspose.cells -

By default, Reporting Services 2008 can only export reports to excel file as XLS format in order to maintain backward compatibility. However, we can use the third party tools to
export reports to XLSX format, or we can also implement a custom rendering extension but it is complicated.
