Is SCCM 2012 Beta 2 in Production OK ?
A quick question, we have SCCM 2007 in our production environment. Would you recommend or think it would be OK to install SCCM 2012 Beta in the same environment (i.e. separate server / TEST SITE, etc). Or should this be in a lab ? Thank you ! Alex

No it's only for testing, you will not be able to upgrade to any never release - lab only.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

I understand that there is no upgrade path from this Beta. And our plan would be to completely wipe the server once we are looking at / testing out SCCM 2012. My concern was if there was the potential for conflict with between the Beta sever and the production SCCM server. Thank you

The EULA of ConfigMgr 2012 does not allow you to install it in a production environment (except you're member of the TAP program), so that question is not applicable at all.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
