Hi I am new to SSRS. Is there anyway to achieve Full rich text support in SSRS 2008 R2 or else is it decided to be supported in the near future? Or else can it atleast be achieved by adding external codebase?

Hi keynan , Rich text formatting is not supported in SSRS 2008 R2. However this is support for a subset of HTML Tags. and the ability to bold underline change colour in a text box or field . There are many good examples here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd239396.aspx Hope this helps , Robert Edgson

Hi Robert, Thanks for the reply. I would like to know about the support of Bullet types in the Reports. If HTML is supported, is there anyway to get the different styles of Bullets supported as in HTML? Currently am able to get only 2 types of Bullets at the first level.

Hi Keyan I dont think 'tab' is directly supported in html, but you can insert as many spaces using &nbsp; if you want for Bullet types. <p> • &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Call Line Type:</p> Other Formating The following is a complete list of tags that will render as HTML when defined as placeholder text: * Hyperlinks: <A href> * Fonts: <FONT> * Header, style and block elements: <H{n}>, <DIV>, <SPAN>,<P>, <DIV>, <LI>, <HN> * Text format: <B>, <I>, <U>, <S> * List handling: <OL>, <UL>, <LI> For more information, please see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645967.aspx SUHAS http://suhaskudekar.blogspot.com/ Please click "Mark as Answer" if this resolves your problem or "Vote as Helpful" if you find it helpful.
