Invalid line argument error?

I've been attempting to download some design software from Serif since 9/4 and can't get it to install.

When I download from the Serif installer it appears to download the app, but at the end I get a message,

"Invalid line arguement. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help".

I located the Windows Software Development Kit and downloaded it, but I keep getting the line argument box. I've looked around in the tool kit to see if there is some .exe I need to install, but see nothing to suggest I need to do more than download the tool kit.

I really need to complete a design project, but can't do so without this Serif upgrade. At first I thought it was a corrupt download file so I asked them to send me a new link. I still can't get the app to install.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
