Intune reports updates "Not Applicable" but - Microsoft update detects as needed (64bit version problem only)

I have a number of updates that Intune management is reporting as "Not Applicable" but that a direct scan from Windows updates indicates are needed.

The 32bit client updates all detected/installed, it seems to be a 64 bit edition specific issue:

All 3 updates were correctly detected/installed on 32bit Windows 8 clients, but not on 64 bit computers.

Has anyone else seen this?

Yes. I just saw this. I found that Windows 8.1 will be offered if KB2871389 is installed, but Intune shows 2871389 as "Not Applicable".

Is the "Not Applicable" occurring for your 32 bit Windows 8.0 OS computers or just your 64-bit computers like me?

I have only 64-bit machines, so I don't know about 32-bit computers.

Has anyone else seen updates such as (KB2871389) the prep for Windows 8.1 being "Not Applicable" on their 64bit Windows 8 computers?

Status Update - Problem resolved

I worked with the Intune support team and some fixes were made. Now the problem updates have been detected as Needed and have been Installed.

For a few computers I did have to do a policy and software inventory refresh followed by reboot to get all of updates to be detected/installed.
