Internet Based Client Management question

Hi,

I have a client who is looking on introducing  a Internet based client management server within the DMZ, however this server  managed by a one SCCM hierarchy. The Internet based clients are managed by a different SCCM hierarchy, so my question is will this prevent the site system roles being installed and configured?

Thanks

It is not recommend (and may cause you problems) to have site server be manager by a different CM12 site.

I think it actually may be supported, but it's not something I would ever do. It adds a huge a large layer of complexity and unknowns. Do you honestly have multiple sites in your environment?

Jason,

I would like to say that its not the case but unfortunately this client has multiple SCCM sites, some 2007 and others 2012 and all managed by different companies.  However there is a project starting to consolidate all the sites into a single site.
