Interactive Sorting of Matrix column
I'm using SSRS 2008 and have created a Matrix report which has the following fields: Name, Address, City, State, Zip, and [Month] (a matrix column group field).
I have successfully added interactive sorting to the Name, Address, City and State fields. However, I cannot get interactive sorting to work on the [Month] matrix field. The value for the matrix data field equals
[Sum(#Count)].
I want to be able to have interactive sorting on each month's count. So if I click on a month (i.e. 1/2010) I should have
the highest/lowest count values sorted. No matter what I do the interactive sorting doesn't do anything when I click on it for any of the months.

John, you may have more success posting your question in a SQL Server Reporting Services Forum.
Moderators can move your thread to the correct forum but unfortunately I cannot.
At a guess, the following documentation may prove useful: How to: Add Interactive Sort to a Table or Matrix (Reporting Services)John Sansom |

Hi John,
Interactive sort in matrix is not supported. Only sort by Group or subtotal can be used. The SUM(#Count) is aggregated by the column group and row group. If you modify the sort of the detail section, the group should be recreated.
thanks,
Jerry
