Interaction with external users
What would be the best way to allow an external user to log into a SharePoint site and submit an InfoPath form. The external user will receive an email with a link to access the Infopath form (deployed in a form library). The user clicks on the link, provides his credentials (ASP.Net Forms Authentication) and sees the form. There will be a Submit button in the form which the user can click to Submit the form. The user should not be allowed to access any other part of the site. Thanks Rajat

We would prefer to use FBA for authenticating credentials.

You should set up FBA as normal and then secure the sharepoint side as you would for anyone else. I did a little work with IP forms in an FBA environment. I wrote about one issue you may face here: http://paulgalvin.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!1CC1EDB3DAA9B8AA!4679.entry?sa=569317418 --Paul Galvin, Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) Microsoft MVP - SharePoint Blogging @ http://feeds.feedburner.com/PaulGalvinsSharePointSpace Twitter @ http://www.twitter.com/pagalvin
