Integrating Live@Edu and Google Apps
There is some documentation about how to integrate Live@Edu with FIM2010? In the other hand, my customer is very interested in integrate Google Apps for Education with FIM2010, and i really don't know what could be the best way to do it. Working with some ODBC? use an exisiting MA for Google Apps (i doubt it as there is not such thing), or to develop the connector. Can anybody give me some guidance for it. I appreciate in advance.

I'm not aware of a commercially available MA for Google Apps. With that in mind, you're going to need to build an XMA to do this.My Book - Active Directory, 4th Edition My Blog - www.briandesmond.com

I would take the custom workflow activity approach to deal with that - google Apps Provisioning API , its too complex and time consuming to develop custom MA.

Thanks Brian and Amer, i really wouldn't wish to develop a MA for GoogleApps, so i would really appreciate some documentation about step-by-step, or labs, or demos, about how to work with the custom workflow activity to got it working. If the MA wont be developed, how FIM connects with the data source? through an API MA or something? I have some experience working with Directory services, databases, e-mail systems, with FIM. But really have not developed my experience working with FIM web services, API's, etc. Thanks in advance for your support.

check out this custom activities and workflows there u can find some example about custom logging activity. when building custom workflow in FIM you dont need to worry about how to connect to FIM web services since built-in activities take care of that, you can use "Code Activity" to run your code that connect to the google Apps and consume Google API. but you need to have in mind that these workflow activities will run only-once in FIM corresponding to the defined MPRs
