Installing windows & and Server 2008 R2 Management packs fails
Hi Ive upgraded my SCE 2007 server to SUS SP2 and downloaded the windows 7 management packs however when I try to install them I get the following memory related SQL error. Please help, my install of SQL does not have any management tools to assist me in changing the DB size The requested management pack was invalid. See inner exception for details. Parameter name: managementPack Database error. [MPInfra_p_ManagementPackInstall] failed with exception: Database error. [MPInfra_p_ManagementPackInstall] failed with exception: Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.ManagementPackStaging'.'PK_ManagementPackStaging' in database 'OperationsManager' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

Hi Anchor, I'd like to suggest you increased the size of the OperationsManager database using the SQL Server Management Studio. Connect to the server running the OpsMgr Operational Database, open the server/databases, right-click on the OperationsManager database (default name) and click properties. Click on the files tab, change the MOM_DATA size to the new size and click Ok. You can validate that the change in size occurred by going back to the properties of the database.

Hi ThanksThis worked, however I was not able to add the sql server management console to the sql install. What I ended up doing was installing sql on another machine and then connecting remotely to the DB, the MOM_DATA was set to auto expand however i changed the size and then was able to install the management packs. hope this helps others with the same issue.
