thats true that MOSS 2007 doent suppose vista/win7 . I tried using bamboo solutions inorder to get WSS run on my vista machine... that didnt work. I am only able to run stsadm commands but the Sharepoint central admin page doesnt turn up...so i am not sure if it would work for you or not....

Hi ssm225in, If i am not wrong, everyone knows that WSS/MOSS supports on only server operating system. Because a Client OS cannot support too many requests, that's why only server OS is the best choise for WSS/MOSS. But for testing and R&D purpose, you can install WSS/MOSS on a Desktop based OS like Windows XP, Vista and Wndows7 (using bamboo tool). Don't simply windup your issue by saying "dosent turn up", try to investigate or post your issues here, so forum members can help. Regards, Sruesh Kumar Udatha.
