Installing SSRS component on a pre-configured SQL Server 2008 R2
Hi All, We have a Production SQL Server 2008 R2 database running. They have not configured/installed the SSRS component on this SQL Server. We need to now install this SSRS component and configure the Report Server. Can you please provide me the link/guide that has all the instructions to install the SSRS on a pre-configured SQL Server and configuring the Report manager. Thanks Kalyan

Hi There you can add features to the existing instance. Here are the detailed steps: 1. Run the setup.exe from SQL Server 2008 installation media 2. In the SQL Server Installation Center, click Installation page and select New Installation or add new features to an existing installation. 3. Follow the steps, and in the Installation Type page, choose Add features to an existing of SQL Server 2008 R2 and select the instance name which you want to add SSRS feature in your case. 4. In the Feature Selection page, select SSRS and any other features you want to add. 5. Follow the steps, finish the installation and you would be able to add new features.
