I'm performing Opsdb and DW installation using media (SCOM2007 R2) in SQL Server,My doubt is do I have to install the OpsDb and DW on both the nodes are just installing on Active Node is suffice to build the OpsDb and DW. Thanks in advance!!!- Thanks, Varshinie

If I were using the DBCreate Wizard to create the dbs on a cluster, it only creates the db on the Active node, so you should be good to go as long as the db is there using the media on the active node. If you are still concerned, fail over the cluster node after creating the db, and make sure its still there but again you should be fine. I dont think the installer does anything special when installing the db on a cluster, just creates the dbs and tables, views etc. hope this helps! Hi, You start your installation from the active node. DBs stored in a shared storage it makes them accessible by the active node (either node 1 or 2) without problem. Look at this good link http://kevingreeneitblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/clustering-scom-2007-r2-rms-role-on.html and note that SQL 2008 R2 is used in the blog, so in this case we can only use DBcreate wizard not like SQL 2008 or 2005.
