Hello Everyone:

i am facing issue while installing SharePoint 2016.Its been more than 40 minutes and still the SharePoint setup say configuring application server role web server role.

any suggestion will be helpful.

Do you have internet connection on your server?

I highly recommend allowing internet connection to this DEV environment. Makes the installation of the prerequisites much, much easier.
