I want to install SPS 2003 on Windows Server 2003 64 bit, but when the installation is just about to complete, the setuphangs. I have tried all the steps given in a link - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905854 While the setup is going on, I get a message in front of each server component ('Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services', 'SharePoint Portal Server' and 'Microsoft SQL Server Desktop engine') in setup window, which says Installed and in the bottom of the window, 'Preparing SharePoint server 2003 configuration. This may take a few seconds. After this, the setup hangs. I am unable to see any SharePoint related attributes in perfmon. Any help please?

Vivek , Were you able to resolve the issue ? I am experiencing the Same Issue. Microsoft , could you please help here. I have followed prerequisite article. Still no luck. It hangs at configuring. Any pointer wud help. Thank You
