Installation SCCM R3 Parent-Child
Hello, I have upgraded the Parent earlier morning and verified it is showing "R3 Installed" under System Center Configuration Manager > Site Database > Site Management > Site > Site Properties. I am trying to upgraded the child now and I am getting a "warning" ... "it is not supported to have a Configuration Manager 2007 R3 site reporting to a Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 or earlier parent site. If any sites higher in the hierarchy have not been already been upgraded to Configuration Manager 2007 R3, continuing Setup on this site might prevent them from being upgraded in the future." is it just a warning? is it a prerequisite checked which failed? Thanks, Dom System Center Operations Manager 2007 / System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 / Forefront Client Security / Forefront Identity Manager

I have never seen this warning. At which point, did you get this warning? Anoop C Nair - Twitter @anoopmannur MY BLOG: http://anoopmannur.wordpress.com SCCM Professionals This posting is provided AS-IS with no warranties/guarantees and confers no rights.

Hi, It's just a warning and it can be safely ignored if the install gone well, I've seen the same warning in some situations and realy I don't know the cause :)Bechir Gharbi | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/bgharbi/ | Time zone : GMT+1

Close and open the console on the parent site so lower sites are recognized as an R3. Just an FYI....http://www.sccm-tools.com http://sms-hints-tricks.blogspot.com
