Install error 25009 when upgrading old ILM database for use with FIM
Hi all,
I have a costumer that are running ILM FP1 with DB on SQL 2000. Now we are setting up a new FIM server och I restored the old database prior to the install of the sync service to upgrade that and reuse it. During the installation I get an error during the
"configuring database" section. It errors out with the following error:
Error 25009: CONDITIONAL falied because the following SET options have incorrect settings: 'ARITHABORT'. Verifiy that SET options are correct for use with indexed views......"
I tried setting ARITHABORT ON but that doesn't help.... I read Brads post about a similar error but I don't get any error running the xp_logininfo command, and SQL service is running as local system.
Any help would be appreciated
Regards
Patrik

Might want to rule out a permissions issue by running with an account that has SQL SA permissions.CraigMartin Edgile, Inc. http://identitytrench.com

I was running into the same error, the fix I ended up finding was going into the properties of the FIMSynchronizationService Database, going into Options and making sure the compatibility level is at least set to SQL 2005, I believe I only tried with 2008.
Initially mine was set to 2000, I'm assuming that happened as part of restoring my DB. Once I changed that and went through the FIM install everything worked just fine.
Hopefully this works for you as well.
