Install Synchronization Service privilege error
I got the following exception when installing Synchronization Service. The exception occurs during creating the Synchronization Service database. I have tried to install the database locally and remotely in windows server 2008 environment, and got the same exception. Thanks for the help in advance! Error 25009: The Forefront Identity Manager Synchronization Service setup wizard connot configure the specified database. Invalid object name 'mms_management_agent'. A required privilege is not held by the client.

It was the domain policy issue. After we disabled the domain policy on the fim server, the installation went through. Can anyone explain why this only happens to FIM Sync Service installation, but FIM Service installation?

Can you explain how you disabled the "domain policy" on the FIM server? What settings were in it?http://setspn.blogspot.com
