Currently in our environment we are using SCCM 2007 R2 and SCOM 2007 R2. We started moving / migrating our applications and servers to Hyper V 2012 virtual environment. Current environmnet consists of SCCM 2007 R2, which is using to manage all client machines (to install apps and to update apps and Windows) and SCOM 2007 R2 is not fully functional. We plan to go with SC 2012 product line. Is it possible to configure SCCM / SCOM and SCVMMM 2012 on the same highly available single Virtual clusterd node (Hyper V 2012) or is it required to configure them on physical node? Our main concenrs are whether all 3 products can be configured on same machine and a side-by-side / co-existing upgradation is possible for both SCCM and SCOM?

All of the System Center components can be installed in virtual machines. I recommend installing each one in its own virtual machine. Each virtual machine can be on the same Hyper-V host.

Specific guidance for each product and upgrade scenarios is listed in the TechNet library.

Separate forums for both Configuration Manager and Operations Manager are available to help answer questions related to each product.
