Hi all,

what is the really working solution for patching the sccm2012r2 client to CU4 during OSD Task-Sequence?

I tried many approaches including this https://sccmfaq.wordpress.com/2014/03/14/sccm-2012-r2-include-client-hotfix-or-cumulative-update-while-on-osd/

but it always fails and exit the TS to the installed OS... I just can see t"Product: Configuration Manager Client -- Installation failed" in the client.msi log file :(

I perform the CU4 Installation in the following sequence:

-- "Run CommandLine Step" xcopy the configmgr2012ac-r2-kb3026739.msp to C:\Windows\temp\SCCM2012R2Hotfix directory - this works (I can see the file on the client Machine during OSD)

-- "Setup Windows and Configuration Manager" with the PATCH=C:\windows\temp\SCCM2012R2Hotfix\configmgr2012ac-r2-kb3026739.msp" Installation property

and then I guess, that the "old" SCCM Client becomes uninstalled because I can see a client.msi_uninstall log file in C:\Windows\ccmsetup\lasterror.. after this action the client reboots and that was it with sccm :(
