Install Pending
I have a few packages that have varying confusing characteristics. I have packages that install and packages that stay in Install Pending and others that don't have any status.
To begin the packages with no status don't have any distribution points defined. So, this is obvious why there is no status.
I must explain my DP setup to explain my confusion. I have two DPs, the one on the site server does not have BITS enabled nor anonymous connections allowed. The other separate distribution point has BITS enabled and anonymous connections allowed. For the
software I'm using I need BITS and anonymous connections.
The packages that are in the Install Pending are the ones that only have the separate distribution point defined.
Lastly, the other type of package has both distribution points enabled for the packages and they are the exact packages that are Installed. It seems obvious that the having the site server distribution point defined makes the packages install.
Is this a valid argument or should I be looking deeper?

Any specific reason for using anonymous connections faced that error before on one of the Client just removed the anonymous connections and everything works fine.Syed Kasif
