As part of scope agreement with the customer my team is just managing approx. 50000 servers for my client. Wherein our scope includes Patch deployment using SCCM. My team is deployment patches on all 50K servers in different phases. Now the pressure is building up to show some value proposition in terms on Dollar value.

Kindly advise what innovative ideas can be proposed to customer in Server space with the use of SCCM tool

Hi,

I would use more features in SCCM like Endpoint Protection for instance and Compliance management, making sure the servers are configured as they should and perhaps remediate it automatically.

Reporting of hardware and installed software is a strong value as well..

When you are talking about Dollars, Are you talking about Hard Dollars or Soft Dollars?

It is simple to show Soft Dollars. Hardware inventory, Patching, Cost avoidance, More with less, etc.

It is virtually impossible to show Hard Dollar saving. (Cash)
