It seems to me that the thread you posted don't provide a solution. I tried to look around here: $obj = gwmi -query "select * from SMS_SCI_Component where ItemName = 'SMS_AD_SYSTEM_DISCOVERY_AGENT|<servername>' and sitecode = '<sitecode>'" -namespace "root\sms\site_<sitecode>" but I can't find a way to trigger a discovery.
