Dear All,

i have infopath form A, i did a lot of work with code inside it.

however, i copied that form "the .xsn file" and name it as B.

i also make some changes on it.

however, when i am uploading it from my sharepoint CA, i am getting the error message saying:

An unexpected error has occurred while verifying the form template. The form template cannot be upgraded because the file name has changed since the previous version. Rename the file name to the following or change the form ID of the form template: A.xsn

i need both Forms to work together with different content types.

how can i upload that copied form with keeping the old form running ?

Did you  publish the form to your file drive as B.xsn?

Publish the form and then try uploading to CA. See if that gets you past that error you are getting.

I think you have just change the name of template but not changed the published template name.

You first need to uninstall the previous version of infopath from CA then install new template. Make sure that you have increased the version of new template from form option-->versioning.

If you want to keep both version then first change the version of B.xsn and publish it with different name. Then upload to CA.
