Working on a Infopath forms migration where we are migrating the legacy browser enable infopath forms from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013. These legacy forms were making SOAP calls to UserProfile service and GetGroupCollectionFromUser.

Can somebody shed some light on how these SOAP calls will behave in an ADFS authenticated SP2013 environment ? Will these forms which are making SOAP calls be compat

Unfortunately, the answer is no. You can make SOAP calls in InfoPath with NTLM authentication, but not work with SAML token. Please find more information about this topic in the following thread.
