Infoapth form

Hi

I have created an infopath form to auto populate data in certain fields for the current user who is using it (using SOAP web service).

The problem is, I have created another view for viewing the form, so when I select an already submitted item to view, the data in the pre-populate fields are automatically taking the data of the user who is viewing the form.

I have made the form load options to use the getuserprofile property and set certain fields values, I think this is causing the issue whenever viewing an already submitted item.

Can someone tell me how to avoid this or at least how to set a rule in infopath to the viewable mode ?

TIA

While prefilling the data to field, write a condition to check if it is empty. That way you can prevent data being overwritten when some one else is viewing the form.

Prefill data only if the field is empty!

IS AccountName a column in your Infopath form or field in data connection?

Try the condition 'Individual Name is blank'
