InfoPath Template Type

I recently built an InfoPath form and thought I selected SharePoint List.  However it is not responding the way anticipated.

How can view the template used to build a form?  Example: SharePoint List, SharePoint Form Library, Blank Form (InfoPather Filler), etc.

Hi SJTX,

What  did you do about the way that was not responding ?

Based on your description, you want to create an InfoPath form by using a form template.

You  are able to implement you requirement as the following steps:
1.Open Microsoft InfoPath Designer 2010/2013(don't use InfoPath Filler)
2.Click  New ribbon , then you will view Available Form Templates
3.On  the Popular Form Templates section, the forms you mentioned are here.
4.Click  the form that you want to create, then click Design Form
5.Then you can start to design the form

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Wendy

If you built the form you should still have access to the form i.e. desktop

Righ Click on the file>Design, this will open up the form in InfoPath designer.

File>Form Options>Compatability>

This will tell you the form type.
