Index was outside the bounds of the array
the report runs fine, but when I try to print / print layout/ export, I get : Index was outside the bounds of the array so basically the web renderer is fine with my RDL but the print layout renders it differently. I eliminated the problem down by deleting the following groups: branch ,wbs_clienttypename and mainaccount The print layout renders fine again. Tracking back what went wrong, It's to do with group creation in 2008: * I need these 3 groups for totaling the records in the tabelix. * When I create a row group (with header) the designer adds a column to the left of the table with the group by field. * I don't want this, so I simply delete this column. It seems the print layout renderer is looking for the group by textbox or column I can add the RDL if you want.

Are you deleting that extra column Only or also deleting associated Groups and Columns with that Grouping??

Deleting the column only. I want the group. last few hours I wondered weather the bug from else where, but didn't have a chance to check this: It may be a RTL bug. It may origin from the different cells being sized in a mixture of CM and PT. 1 pixel (PT) equals a non round number of CM. A print layout probably demands tite fit of pixels while web brouser is more forgiving (ever seen these wide border lines where you requsted it to be 1pt?) I wonder if there is a method to convert a RDL file from CM to PT. PT seems like an absolute value. If not, I can try doing this in excel.

Yep, It is a RTL bug: https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/637437/rtl-layout-direction-group-section-document-map I will try to reopen this.
