Increase the the size of SSRS Parameter Drop down list
I have a multi value paramater drop down. In which I am displaying both Customer ID + Customer name. However the drop down list does not expand (in width) to show the whole CustID + Name instead has scroll bars to scroll across which is quite inconvieneeint for the user. Thanks in advance@

I have larger "Select one" parameters and smaller multi-value parameters not displaying the entire text. I think you should report this problem to Connect.microsoft.com.

I discuss a method by which you may increase the size of this dropdown here. The post addresses reports generated via the ReportViewer control, but I discuss how it may be applied to the Report Manager system in the comments section. Hope this helps! Brandon

I just want to point out that referencing the internal structures of the ReportViewer is not supported and therefore this type of workaround is very likely to break in the future. We are aware of this problem and are working to address it in the next version of the ReportViewer control.

Although the proposed solution does (unfortunately) take advantage of the internal control hierarchy of the ReportViewer control, this appears to be the only such solution after close to four years of the problem persisting.Since, to my knowledge, the problem persists in SSRS 2008, the issue will likely continue well into the future. Waiting a half-decade (and likely longer) for a solution seems well below optimal. Taking advantage of internal structure, therefore, given the lack of alternatives, appears a reasonable remedy.Others may, obviously, come to a different conclusion; their sole remedy at this time is to continue waiting.Brandon
