I am storing the values from one list to another list but for the identity I am creating  a unique id between both source  and destination list.

When i try to update the current list item with value to a specific field getting an error. So, How can we update the current list field with some value using sharepoint designer workflow 2010.

is it possible to explain in detail.  what is the unique id you are creating on both the lists. I think on one list would find to main relation.

are you using SPD workflow to create/store some values on 2nd list?

Yes, You are correct. I am using SPD 2010 workflow in Sharepoint 2013 sites. I am trying to store the value from List A to List B

Suppose, When we edit an item in List A that should be updated same in List B. In this case, I am trying to create a  specific field(unique ID) with Workflowcontext-->Current Item URL as a value. 

I can update this value Workflowcontext-->Current Item URL in List B but not in Current list(List A). Reason for the Unique ID column is, in future we will add more list to store the values in List B. 

How to achieve this ?
