In SCCM 2012 how to deploy an agent just to one client?

Hi,

I just finished to mount the Windows in a server. Now the only thing I need to do is installing SCCM agent.

What is the manual way direct from the server and what's the remote way?

Thanks

You could just right click the client from the ConfigMgr console and select Install client, follow the simple instructions. Job done.

logs to monitor

CCM.log on the ConfigMgr server.

ccmsetup..log on the client in the windows\ccmsetup folder.

edit - that's provided client push has already been configured on the Configuration Manager server.

Manual Way - Right click on the client machine and click Install Client.

Remote Way - There are multiple methods to deploy client agent. You could use site wide auto client push install method / Right click on a collection and push the client agent by clicking install client.

If for example I'm in the process to create a Windows image template and there is no connection yet so is it possible to download the client from SCCM and install it manually in the Windows client?
