Impossible to set display settings in TP2

Hello,

it seems that if you want to change display settings it is not possible.

To reproduce it, right click on desktop and choose "Display settings": you'll receive the message in a dialog box "You'll need a new app to open this ms-settings"; if you notice, the button with label "OK" is gray so the only thing to do to cancel the dialog is a left click on the desktop.

I attached a screenshot.

Only one notice: the installation is a virtual machine in Hyper-V (on Windows 10 build 10240).

This behaviour happens in a number of places, and has been fed back through the Connect bug tracking site.

In the interim, you should be able to change the display settings by going to the control panel and opening display properties directly from there, rather than by right click on the desktop and properties.

Hi,

As mentioned above, we can use the Microsoft Connect site(https://connect.microsoft.com/) to submit bugs. If you are not the TAP Customers of Microsoft, there will be some limitation, but you may also post the details on this forum, we will reproduce the problem and feedback it to related department if necessary.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

I can't try because when arrive on "Display Settings" page from Control Panel there is a note that say that I can't change display settings from a remote connection..but I suppose it works with this workaround.

" I can't change display settings from a remote connection"

That's been the way with Windows from the beginning.  This is not a new limitation.

Hello Tim,

I know that: it was only a comment, not a reference to a new limitation :-)
