hi, i want to export document library from one site to another site. i am using wss 3.0 and my document library contains web part pages. suppose my source document library is in the following site http://tarunc-2k3:8089/sites/home and i want it to migrate it to the following site on the same server http://tarunc-2k3:7777/sites/home any help on this. i found a link which describe how to migrate it through .net console application but when i migrate it web part pages in the document library does not open.tarun charaya

This forum is only for 2010 questions. WSS 3.0 is the free version of the older 2007 product. One easy way to do it is to save the library as a template, transfer the template to the list template gallery of the new site, create a new library from this template, then transfer the documents via Windows Explorer. Do you need to retain version history and ownership?
