I am currently working on a design to implement interactive dashboards for "Research & Analytics" requirement which will based on Stock market indices data. Could you please let me know any thoughts or ideas on the best practices and approach for the effective design . Thank You!

As per my personal experience, these people like more of interactive and quick graphical view.

Use more of pie chart, heat diagram, etc which are pretty stock oriented diagrams.

Keep the site simple and fast is most important but keep the graphs\diagram more interactive.
