Image Capture Issues-Memory Errors
Hello, I am trying to capture my WinXP SP3 reference computer and am getting stuck. Here are details... VMware Virtual Machine (HW version 7) 1 CPU 10gb hard disk-C drive 40gb hard disk-E drive (capture image) Flexible NIC driver 2gb ram SCCM Server 2007 SP2 R2 running on W2K8 R2 Database server is on another machine Boot Images VMware SCSI,VMXNET,VMXNET3,AMD NIC drivers injected into both boot images I've enabled command line support I mount the image capture ISO to the VM. It does it's thing by running sysprep and reboots. I'm trying to capture to the second hard disk so that I don't have to worry about network issues while I'm trying to initially learn this process. It starts WinPE and then spits out a memory error Please wait...:TsBootShell.exe-Application Error The instruction at 0x769a7a1f referenced memory at 0x00000028. The memory could not be written. Click on ok to teminate the program. I try to use F8, but nothing happens. When I go to F8 when WinPE starts I get the option to boot into safe mode, etc but that doesn't seem like where i need to be to troubleshoot according to everything else I've read. I've even tried to mount the 2 hard drives to existing VM's to try and pull off the log files, but I don't see anything (I was looking for a folder on the C drive called SMSTS) Can someone help. This is driving me nuts!
