is this the computers mac address ? <![LOG[MAC=64:31:50:11:87:4E SMBIOS GUID=25D71CCA-4722-11E0-B103-49086701C0CA > Device found in the database. MacCount=1 GuidCount=0]LOG]!>
if so it's not unknown and therefore will not be running an advertisement in the unknown computers collection, you could delete the computer record in sccm and try pxe booting again (might need to restart the wds service to clear the cache)
alternatively, add the computer (via computer association or whatever method you wish) to a collection that has a task sequence advertised to it
cheers

I have ran into the same problem with Unknown Computer Support. Often times restarting WDS works... Not always though, my servers sometimes take some time to go.

Hi,
Did you have your boot images updated on the DP?
Have you double checked your computer association is created correctly?
Have a look at this blog:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2011/01/05/troubleshooting-the-pxe-service-point-and-wds-in-configuration-manager-2007.aspx
Also I saw this error from your pasted log: <![LOG[Failed to read PXE settings.
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 80070002; Source: Windows)]LOG]!><time="14:52:41.846+-600" date="07-25-2011" component="smspxe" context="" type="3" thread="4980" file="bootimagecache.cpp:119">
As I know sometimes even the TS successed this error may occures.
Hope this will help.
Thanks

Hi All
Thanks a lot for your support....
Still I am stuck there.. Now even SCCM not responding to machines that exist in database.. Like I tried to advertise a TS to an existing collection I made which has few machines... In log it says device found but ignore request... I restarted whole SCCM
machine twice... Confirmed TS is advertised to specific collection.. Dont know what else I can d o!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, have a look at the following posts:

Sorry Henk I am not sure how to quote you without the whole thing.
My experience in that last part I have had to remove PXE Service Point, WDS, and the boot images from c:\windows\temp on a few of my servers.

Sorry Henk I am not sure how to quote you without the whole thing.
My experience in that last part I have had to remove PXE Service Point, WDS, and the boot images from c:\windows\temp on a few of my servers.
When deploying a device multiple times, and startover again within 15 minutes, there will be a error message displayed. This is
default WDS (Windows Deployment Services) behaviour, and can be solved with restarting the WDS service.
If that's not the solution, deleting "PXEBootFiles" and "BootImages" folders in "C:\Windows\Temp" can also do the trick. In my opinion it's not needed to remove the PSP, WDS and boot images to make it functional again after that.My ConfigMgr blog: http://henkhoogendoorn.blogspot.com Follow me on Twitter: @henkhoogendoorn
