If you customize privacy settings during upgrade to 10240 - you will not be able to use Feedback App!

Since Windows 10240 build is so close to the Release Date (7/29) I dared to customize privacy settings in upgrade Wizard.

Wrong decision....

I am not sure what exact settings I changed but it was something minor, I am not that paranoid about Microsoft getting my data from my tests setup.

Now first thing in the morning I wanted to provide some feedback by using the Feedback App and the app said: "Please change your privacy level under Feedback options to Full".

Feedback App wants privacy level to be Full

If you press "No thanks" - app just closes, so I need to go to "Settings"...

So, I went to "Settings > Privacy > Feedback and Diagnostics > Diagnostics and Usage Data > Send your device data to Microsoft" and I see "Enhanced" in the pull-down. And I assume Feedback App wants to see "Full" there.

But pull-down is disabled and it is marked as "Windows Insider Program Manages this option". Here is what I see there:

Privacy Settings are locked by insider program

So, I guess, Insider Program (whatever this is) - locked the pull-down but forgot to change the value to Full.

I have just finished talking to Microsoft Rep via Contact Support App (very nice thing BTW) and they recommended posting this question to the forum here... (It seems like almost all of my calls to MS Support end up here...)

And I cannot report this bug since my Feedback App is not starting :-)

Any ideas?

Have you tried removing then re-installing the feedback app?
