If no records found - How not to send email -- SSRS 2008 r2 in SharePoint Integration mode *****When data source is SharePoint List********
Environment : SharePoint 2010 EnterPrise Edition, SSRS 2008 r2 Enterprise Edition I wanted to create a SSRS report which will show the rows that are going to expire in next 45 days. I don't want to send an Email if there is no data. I came across some solutions, but that will work only if the data source is SQL Server. I need a solution, If data source is SharePoint List. Please share your ideas. Thanks

I have achieved something similar using SSIS. In your SSIS package, first check to see if there is data returned in your query from the Sharepoint list. If there is no data, end the package. If there is, run a sql agent to kick of the scheduled job.
